merlin's first day

Merlin was an 11 year old rescue saluki who, with his owner, had fallen on very hard times. He was only with us for 6 months before the severe periodontal disease that he had suffered spread from his jaw. Duncan sat up with him for two nights, before he was gently helped on his way.
